Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed the half term.

It was great to see all of the photographs of your ‘Monday Munch’! This week your key ingredient is tomatoes. Click on the link below for further information and ideas.

Follow the link below which will take you to the phonics play website where you can play the game ‘Dragon’s Den’. Two dragons have got their eggs mixed up. It’s making them so sad that they can’t breathe fire anymore. Can you help them to find their eggs? Drag each egg to the right dragon to get them breathing fire again. The green dragon’s eggs have real words on them. The red dragon’s eggs have made up words on them.

Maths: Please complete page number 17 from the addition and subtraction workbook. Today it’s a colour by numbers challenge! Can you solve the sums in the boxes to work out what colour they should be?

We will be learning about the great fire of London. In this lesson you will begin by looking at who ruled England during the 17th century, up to who was in charge at the time of the Great Fire of London. You can then have a look at how people lived, finishing by exploring the different types of jobs available during this period.

Follow the link below to the lesson 3 in our unit ‘drawing’. In this lesson, we will be hunting for shadows and exploring the different ways we can use shadows to inspire our drawings. Later on in the lesson, we will begin to discuss 'tone' and experiment with a range of drawing materials to understand a bit more about this term. This lesson includes some physical activity and equipment beyond pen, paper or pencil. Please make sure your child is adequately supervised.
