All of the children in years 1 to 6 took part in a cross country run at Holdbrook this term.
The children ran so well showing their Holdbrook Hero values of resilience and determined.
We were so proud of all of the children.
The children in year 1 and year 4 had a wonderful time at Colchester Zoo.
They really enjoyed seeing all of the animals.
What was your favourite animal?
On Friday we collected for Comic Relief, the children came to school in non uniform and some had painted their noses red. Thank you to our parents/carers for your generous donations which will be sent to the charity to help fund the organisations they support.
The children in years 2, 3 and 5 went to the Tower of London last Friday to support the work the children have been doing in History.
They all had a wonderful time and came back with lots of interesting facts.
This week we celebrated World Book Day with the children and staff dressing up as their favourite book character. The children looked wonderful in their costumes and thoroughly enjoyed the 'drop everything and read' sessions that took place throughout the day.
Congratulations Holdbrook! We have been awarded with the Gold Stonewall award. This shows our commitment to have an inclusive school.
