Read Write Inc

In September 2019, we introduced Read Write Inc phonics to our school as a way to get children reading and writing quickly with a life long love of reading.

The programme enables teachers to develop children’s skills in reading, writing, spoken language, vocabulary, grammar and spelling in an fully integrated way, to raise standards in children’s literacy and spark a lifelong love of reading.

The children are assessed regularly and put in small focus groups to support them with the early stages of reading and writing.
