The Farm came to visit Holdbrook and the children had a wonderful time.
It was so lovely to see reception and year 1 being brave and visiting the animals.

Our Year 6 children have had a wonderful time at Woodrow High House in Amersham.
They spent 2 nights away and tried lots of different activities.
It was so lovely to see the children challenge themselves and push their boundaries.
Well done Year 6, you were definitely Holdbrook Heroes.
Today the children came to school dressed as Kings and Queens as we celebrate the Kings Coronation on Saturday.
During the week, the children have been finding out about what will happen as part of the coronation day. We also shared lots of stories during our assemblies to build up some excitement.
After school our children and families came to school to bounce the night away and have a burger to celebrate the Kings Coronation. We all had a wonderful time and the children were so excited by this momentous event.

Today the children came in to school wearing red or wearing a red nose for comic relief.

It's World Book Day!
Today the children have come to school dressed as their favourite characters and will be taking home a book token to swap for a book in a local book week.
The children will be joining in with some live lessons and having lots of fun exploring their favourite books.
We will also be sharing books with our families later on today, we hope to see you all there.

Our weekly baby and toddler groups are working really well.
It is lovely to meet so many families from our local community.
If you know anyone with a baby or toddler please let them know about our group, we would love to welcome them here at 1:30pm on Tuesdays.
We had a wonderful turn out of families for our annual CHEXS Spring Craft event.

It was so lovely to have some Lea Valley Academy students joining us at Holdbrook to share their learning on climate change.
The children were so engaged and really interested by the topic.
We look forward to welcoming them back to Holdbrook and visiting Lea Valley later on in the year.
Children came to school dressed as their favourite real life hero. There were some wonderful costumes and they all looked superb, thank you to the parents for their support.
