  • Wellbeing Wednesday Success #Bekind

    Wed 26 Feb 2020

Today we launched our Wellbeing Wednesday initiative.  The children and staff all had a lovely roast dinner together and talked to one another.

Today the theme was all about Kindness.

The children were asked to think about a time that someone has been kind to them this year and to think about how they can be kind in the future.

I wonder what will be the theme next week?

Have a look at the pictures below.

  • Valentines Day Celebrations

    Fri 14 Feb 2020

Today we had a lovely day celebrating Valentines Day.

We thought about what it means to be kind and openhearted, two of our Holdbook values.

The children really enjoyed their non-uniform day and had a lovely Valentines meal prepared by our kitchen team.  We finished the day with a cake sale.

We made £148 for the school altogether.  Thank you for your support, this will go towards new playground equipment for the children.

    Together we are Holdbrook Heroes!

    Have a great half term.

The theme for the week has been 'Find your Brave.'

The children have been exploring what it means to be brave in class.  We finished off the week with an assembly where we thought about being kind, brave and a Holdbrook hero.
