It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire and the Mayor of Broxbourne to Holdbrook today.
They visited our school to find out about the wonderful work we have been doing to support our children and the local community.
Children are invited to dress up as (Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses). There will be a Jubilee themed lunch for the children to enjoy and a picnic after school until 4.15pm with parents/carers invited to attend.
We are very excited to now have BeFree Forest Schools working with us at Holdbrook Primary School.
Have a look at our Forest Schools curriculum page for more information and the pictures below.
We hope to see lots of families joining us for a parent workshop on behaviour and boundaries.
Speak to our office or the CHEXS team to sign up.
Our new baby and toddler group starter this week.

Last week the children all dressed up in red and white for St Georges day.
They had afternoon tea with their friends and an extra playtime.
It's so good to spend time relaxing and having fun after a long week at school.
All of the children in years 1 to 6 took part in a cross country run at Holdbrook this term.
The children ran so well showing their Holdbrook Hero values of resilience and determined.
We were so proud of all of the children.
The children in year 1 and year 4 had a wonderful time at Colchester Zoo.
They really enjoyed seeing all of the animals.
What was your favourite animal?
On Friday we collected for Comic Relief, the children came to school in non uniform and some had painted their noses red. Thank you to our parents/carers for your generous donations which will be sent to the charity to help fund the organisations they support.
